Hi All. The Lodges are all full at the moment with everybody catching, Ladies are slightly outcatching the Gents.
Some of the big carp have been caught recently. A nice 21lb mirror was caught twice within 24 hours. Must have been hungry.
We still have Lodges available last week in September and first week in October and last week in October (27th – 3rd November). We will then be closing again for the season. Wow where has this year gone.
Well this year be my third year in a row spending a week on the well maintained lake and lodges ..Such a great peacefull lake owned by a friendly and helpful family ..Lodges are well equipped not slept in one yet but the old boys do i happy in my bivvy being spooked by the noises of wildlife ..Out done my Dad and Uncle on every visit

We had a week here Saturday to Saturday starting the 27th June to 3rd July 2021.This was our first time here.The Lodges are basic clean and have all got showers
June,July 2021.The Lodges are basic but ideal for us fishermen,they have all got showers and heating if needed hot and cold water and a kitchen. You can have your food delivered or there is a Pub down the road what dose food.and shops are nearby.know to the important stuff The Fishing. We had A week here and I have to say it has been brilliant. The condition of the lake is brilliant and the fish are to. Big dust bin lid Bream,big Roach,Carp Rudd Crusian
Ok let’s try this again, so we came for a week starting on Saturday 26th June to 3rd July 2021.This was our first time here (definitely won’t be our last), The Lodges are very basic (ideal for us Fishermen) they are clean. The lake is in brilliant condition, plenty of colour to it, and lots of good fishing pegs. Now the fishing, I can honestly say that this week was one if not the best fishing experience I have had, all the fish we caught were in excellent condition, and what a good mixture. I had Bream the size of dustbin lids, biggest Roach I have ever caught. nice Rudd, big Carp (and can I say it was brilliant not just catching Carp all the time) and the Crucian Carp the biggest again I have caught. Jill and Will thank you so much, and please Will don’t change anything.
